Startup Idol, c’est un mélange entre Shark Tank et American Idol: 6 porteurs de projet à la recherche de financements face à un jury implacable d’investisseurs. Les « candidats » auront droit chacun à 4 min de présentation et feront tout pour se faire remarquer du jury qui pourra buzzer s’il est séduit.

Qu’est-ce qu’un « pitch » ?

Le pitch est un exercice de communication où l’intervenant doit présenter son projet de start-up en un temps très court tout en mêlant éloquence et force de persuasion.

Qui sont les investisseurs ?

Peuvent être des Business Angels, des Capital Ventures, ou des représentants d’incubateurs. Ils seront là pour challenger vos idées, et peuvent vous aider financièrement ou par du mentoring.

Pourquoi participer ?

– J’ai une startup : c’est l’endroit idéal pour s’entraîner à pitcher, obtenir des retours, trouver des associés et surtout des investisseurs
– Je souhaite aider des startups à se développer : C’est l’endroit idéal pour les rencontrer.
– Je suis juste curieux : c’est l’endroit idéal pour assister à des présentations de projet, rencontrer des entrepreneurs, des investisseurs, réseauter.

Quels sont les critères d’éligibilité?

La startup doit:
– Etre Early-stage (Première levée de fonds ou juste avant)
– Avoir un lien avec Paris-Saclay : être issue du territoire de Paris-Saclay ou d’un des établissements d’enseignement, de recherche et/ou entreprises de Paris-Saclay. Les startups non liées à Paris-Saclay seront automatiquement placées en liste d’attente, mais pourront être sélectionnées à titre exceptionnel par notre jury.
